Something Completely Different
I am writing this as I think it... So bare with me.
I watched the Notebook again on Saturday with Laura, we were supposed to go to the Vagina Monologues unfortunately the show times were incorrect on the Mount Allison website... We rented the Notebook, and touched up my hair colour (long overdue, I also FINALLY waxed my insane eyebrows, being a chick can really suck).
Which lead us to a intimate discussion on relationships are mutual fears of commitment and the basis for those fears. We also discussed our parents relationships... Which was almost coincidental, since my parents just celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on Saturday as well... My mom sent me a guilt trip email because none of her children called or sent a card... I think I was the only one who felt bad... I was away all day, and honestly when I thought of it I was no where near a phone... I had planned on sharing the crazy story of my parents relationship and how it has made me incredibly fussy and afraid to commit... Perhaps some other time...
I have been hearing rumors that my favorite bar in Cape Breton is closing.. This makes me somewhat sad, I had many a good night in that bar, I consider it the best bar on the island, regardless of what anyone else says.
Jaclyn and Aimee are moving to Alberta, their going away party is the weekend after next. Kenzie is heading to CB and I am going to try and make the trek with him... To attend the girls festivities and visit some of my favorite people... Even if a lot of them aren't kicking around the island anymore... Which is GREAT!
Speaking of moving.. I am planning another adventure for the summer and I think I have found a partner in crime.. Going to check out the two Western provinces I have not yet had the joy of visiting...
Tomorrow night I am going to see Vetch... Chick and her boyfriend... it is true chick music... Laura's choice I have drug her to a lot of local shows lately... It's not usually her kind of music (Metalfest)...
I have started dating another French guy, we'll see if he redeems them... hehehe... Seriously though pretty great guy...
I am Reading this amazing book called "Calculating God" by Robert J. Sawyer, a Canadian Science Fiction writer... I had read some of his other stuff and am very impressed... I know I am a geek...
Motorhead tickets still haven't gone on sale... Rumor has it they will soon.. I am still loving new Priest album, and new guy is introducing me to some interesting tuneage...
I haven't spoken to one of my best friends from Saskatchewan since Christmas... That makes me so very very sad.... She is in serious relationship and managing a bar/restaurant, working the opposite schedule as me... Still makes me sad though...
I had to report everything I have done since high school to the universities I applied at with a cover letter as to why I was applying and had selected that university... ahahahaha...

-Nothing Else Matters

What does "accomplished" mean to you? I feel like I have accomplished a lot in my life, but the journey is a hell of a long way from over....
