Happy Canada Day!
Laura
"No, I don't wanna hear no more
Why don't you do something about it
No, if you can't live with it
Let's see if you can live without it"
-Trooper
So much to say... so little time.. I am going to try for a more detailed update later... it probably won't happen I am too much of a procrastinator. Trooper was extremely friendly, Laura bought a tank top which they all graciously signed, I shook hands with Ra and introduced myself, and as I was explaining who I was he said "Capergrl" I was so incredibly flattered. I love their new song, though I seem to have forgotten the title... my sincerest apologies... does anyone know?
What an incredible night, just hanging out with my best friend listening to some amazing music... Nitty Gritty Dirt Band also played and I sang out at the top of my lungs to "Fishin in the Dark" and "Cadillac Ranch" and remembered fondly the adventures I had in Saskatchewan.
Things seem to be falling into place like puzzle pieces... Made another huge payment on the credit card today... only a tiny bit more to go. Life is grand.

I met Trooper on Friday night, it was my first time seeing them perform live and I must say... Amazing. simply amazing show. Laura wanted to sit back at a table and just watch... NO!.. up we went dancing, singing, laughing and just enjoying ourselves. We did have a slightly tense moment when some guy keep trying to grind up against Laura she elbowed him a few times...(I didn't notice him) then I catch him push her out of the corner of my eye, and turned around and pushed him while yelling "Do NOT push MY friend" and he goes to push me and Lara grabs his arm and says "Do NOT push my friend" he hustled away rather quickly.... funny how we both think the other is an invalid we have to protect.
