Acceptance
I received a letter from Mount Allison University today...
I opened this letter apprehensively shortly after returning home form an overtime shift at work... I am ecstatic, I called Laura and screamed into the phone at her with glee.. I called my Mom who said.. it only took you five years... in the "roll your eyes I knew you were going get in" kinda way.
I also called my Tanya out in Alberta, she has been having a touch of bad luck lately, I wanted to tell her something positive for a change. Georgie and Chris were over visiting and Georgina gave me a congratulatory hug. They all seemed to accept the news like they knew it all along, and I have to be honest and say I really didn't I was scared.
So to the boy whom I love to hate:
Apparently going to University isn't that big of a deal, they are letting me in after all...
So everybody... I am off to university... little ole me, off to the land of retirement and educating myself with a bunch of stuff to make me a pompous pretentious ass (whoops too late)..
I can barely type I am so thrilled.. There has been some negativite stuff going on lately, so this makes me so thankful.
Now I just have to figure out what to take............
